Pocket Reading
Challenge
Brazil has a very low number of regular readers. According to the research "Retratos da Leitura no Brasil", 44% of the Brazilian population does not read and 30% have never bought a book.
Idea
Pocket Reading, also known in portuguese as Leitura de Bolso, was created to change this scenario. The goal of the project is to send 5 minutes of literary texts everyday, for free. We send it where 80% of Brazilians are: on WhatsApp. After just over 1 month, many people will have read an entire book through the app.

No time for books, but plenty of time for social media

Unfortunately, Brazil lost 4.6 million readers between 2015 and 2019. To make matters worse, books are too expensive for most of the population.

On the other hand, many people spend hours in front of their smart phones. Pocket Reading wants to transform it in good habits, with great content. And it's free and easy to use.
